9:49 AM
Prayer to Lord of Olympus, mighty Zeus.
Lest you forget, I am your god.
I am lord of thunder, bearer of lightning.
Strong and forever am I.
I sit on a throne of gold.
The gods gather around me.
A simple nod of my head sets the ground to trembling.
I am wise counsel and lord of hosts.
I am keeper of secrets.
I am keeper of the peace.
I have sired divine children.
You worship them as is their due.
My pride is eternal in their exploits and patronage of all that is good.
I have sons of resplendent beauty.
I have daughters of immense might.
The heavens, the earth, and the world beneath quake at their very movements.
I am king of gods and men.
I am father of gods and men.
I am the lord of heaven.
My father an evil did attempt.
I defeated him.
My mother did me protect, and I honored her.
The lands of the world I watch.
The seas I keep from boiling away.
The birds in their flight make me laugh.
I am God, all mighty.
I am Zeus, ever living.
Lest you forget.
